Drawing attention with its recent breakthrough in the field of energy, Uzbekistan introduced its new investments. Speaking at the launch meeting, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar underlined that they prioritize international cooperation. Minister Bayraktar emphasized the importance of long-term energy partnerships and said, “Our strategic partnership with Uzbekistan has a special importance. Uzbekistan plays a critical role in regional energy supply security with its rich energy resources and growing economy.”
Minister Bayraktar participated live via video conferencing in the Launch and Start of Construction of Major Projects in the Energy Sector in Uzbekistan.
Innovative Solutions
Delivering a speech at the meeting, which was also attended by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister Bayraktar said: “With great excitement, we are witnessing the realization of Uzbekistan's new energy projects. I strongly believe that these projects, equipped with environmentally friendly technologies and innovative solutions, will make significant contributions to Uzbekistan's energy security and overall economy.”

Underlining that Türkiye has always prioritized international cooperation, Minister Bayraktar said: “Because we believe that we can only achieve our common goals through long-term energy cooperation between countries. Commenting on Uzbekistan's energy markets, Bayraktar addressed Uzbek President Mirziyoyev: “We have been closely following your remarkable achievements and progress in recent years. You have provided a level playing field for many international companies, including competent Turkish companies, to invest in your country.”

Turkish Investment is Also Present
Among the facilities inaugurated in Uzbekistan is the Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant built by a Turkish company. The natural gas cycle power plant with a total power of 430 MW will serve for 25 years.
