It Will Reach 40 Million Cubic Meters
Bayraktar mentioned that they changed their strategy in oil and natural gas with the National Energy and Mining Policy and said that they discovered a large natural gas reserve in the Black Sea in 2020 as a result. Bayraktar emphasized that they have produced enough natural gas to meet the needs of 4 million houses in the region called Sakarya Gas Field as of today, and stated that they will increase the production to 40 million cubic meters per day in 2028.
New Production Model
Underlining that they will implement a different production model in Diyarbakır and Thrace with conventional, that is, non-traditional methods in oil and natural gas, Bayraktar said, "I hope we will start the first drilling at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year with this new production model."
