Record Year in Renewables

Pointing out that Türkiye revealed the 2035 Roadmap in Renewable Energy last year, Bayraktar said that Türkiye entered the growth path in 2025 regarding these goals, Bayraktar said, "2026 will be a new record year in renewables."

New Capacities in Storage

Stating that there is also a storage issue in Türkiye's new energy architecture in 2026, Bayraktar said, "Capacities have been allocated to be established together with renewable power plants related to storage. We predict that these capacities will be activated from 2026. We think that a new capacity of about 2,000-3,000 megawatts will be activated here and the remaining capacities will be activated paily," he said.

Interconnection Capacity Will Increase

Noting that one of the issues they focus on is to increase the interconnection capacity with the neighbors, Bayraktar said: “By increasing Türkiye's connection with Europe and our connection with our other neighbors, we aim to increase our network a little and increase the trade capacity in this sense. We are planning to increase our electricity exports to Syria and Iraq," he said.

1 Million Barrels

Pointing out that Turkish Petroleum will grow, Bayraktar said, "With the projects that Türkiye is currently working on, we aim to make Türkiye Petroleum a company that produces 1 million barrels of oil and natural gas with mergers and acquisitions. In this sense, we aim to activate different instruments that will attract foreign financing to Türkiye," he said.

Target Full Capacity in ITP

Pointing out that 2026 is the year when the ITP agreement will also be made, Bayraktar reminded that the agreement on the pipeline will end in July. Stating that Türkiye has kept this line, which has a capacity of 1.4-1.5 million barrels per day from Silopi to Ceyhan, working for 50 years, Bayraktar said, "Unfortunately, this line has been used far below its capacity for 50 years. We absolutely aim to design a model that can use this line at full capacity, the new ITP agreement, within this framework," he said.

59 Thousand Tests Performed in Beylikova

Explaining that a long work process was carried out on rare earth elements (NTE), Bayraktar said that 125 thousand meters of drilling and 59 thousand tests were carried out in the field in Beylikova.

Annual Capacity Of 570 Thousand Tons

Stating that the pilot plant with an annual capacity of 1,200 tons is currently working in Beylikova, Bayraktar said, "The goal we will start in 2026 is this: We aim to increase to an industrial scale and an annual capacity of approximately 570 thousand tons in the refining part of this business." Bayraktar said that they met with many countries about bringing the technology related to the purification of NTEs to Türkiye. Bayraktar pointed out that in order for the energy transformation to be successful, the raw materials required for this transformation should also be brought to the market in accordance with the speed of the transformation.

Under 100 Tons Production

Stating that Türkiye has a serious potential for gold production, Bayraktar said that they aim to increase gold production. Bayraktar said, "We need to increase our gold production to at least 100 tons."
