Another Agreement on Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Production
Turkish Petroleum and US energy giant Chevron signed a memorandum of understanding to search and produce in potential oil and natural gas fields. Accompanying the agreement, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar said, "With this cooperation agreement, we will carry out joint exploration and production activities."

Signatures Signed
TPAO General Manager Cem Erdem and Head of Corporate Business Development on behalf of Chevron Frank Mount signed at the ceremony held in Istanbul. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, who accompanied the ceremony, made evaluations about the agreement.
Opportunities Abroad
Minister Bayraktar said that on the one hand, as Turkish Petroleum, they continue to work intensively to increase its production in Gabar in the Black Sea, and on the other hand, they are taking advantage of opportunities abroad.
New Projects
Noting that they are researching new projects through partnerships in different geographies, Bayraktar reminded that the agreement with Exxonmobil last month came into play.
Joint Search and Production
In this sense, Bayraktar stated that they made a cooperation agreement with US Chevron and said, "With this cooperation agreement, we will carry out joint exploration and production activities."
New Deals Are On The Way
In response to a question about whether new agreements will be made, Minister Bayraktar said, "We have reached an agreement with two different international companies this month. We will share them with our public. With them, we will have signed a little more specific, that is, clear projects," he said.
One Million Barrels Target
Underlining that Turkish Petroleum has entered a new growth strategy, Bayraktar said, "In the next few years, our goal is to become a company of one million barrels."
