Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said, "We have no concerns regarding supply security. We do not foresee any problems with either petroleum and petroleum products, i.e., fuel, or natural gas at this time."

Minister Bayraktar answered journalists' questions on current issues at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye before the AK Party group meeting.
No Concerns Regarding Supply Security
Responding to a question about whether developments in the Middle East would affect supply security, Minister Bayraktar also pointed out that Türkiye's purchases are predominantly from outside the Strait of Hormuz. Minister Bayraktar also emphasized that they are closely monitoring developments.
Positive Developments Will Bring Oil Back to Normal Levels
Speaking about the price of Brent oil, Minister Bayraktar said, "There is serious concern about supply disruption in the world, and supply disruption is a reality. That is why we are seeing prices rise. I hope that this conflict in the region will end as soon as possible and that global markets will normalize a little more. We want this to happen quickly."
