IICEC 5th International Energy Forum
By indicating that the investment amounts meeting the Turkey’s growth is recorded as 8 billion dollars in minimum per year, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız said “We believe that the international capital will like this similarly”.
Minister Yıldız said at his speech made at the IICEC 5th International Energy Forum that Turkey has shown a serious performance in the last 12 years and this would continue.
Minister Yıldız, who reminded that the new installed-capacity exceeding 7 thousand megawatt were put into usage last year, stated that this figure was equal to the total installed-capacity of 10-15 countries.
Yıldız, who indicated that the public would not make investment in the energy sector and the private sector would continue to make these investments, mentioned that every country has their own facts, so they develop these policies together with their geography, geopolitical status, politics and many other factors.
