12. Istanbul International Petroleum Fair
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ took part in the opening ceremony of the “12-th International Petroleum, LPG, Mineral Oil, Equipment, Station, Market Products and Technology Fair”.
In his speech Minister Yıldız stated that Turkey holds its own geographical advantages and that the countries of the world are closely following such projects as TANAP, Bakü-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the Turkish Stream.
Underlining that Turkey is in the 5-th place on natural gas import, 13-the place on crude oil, and on coal – 8-th, Minister Yıldız stated the following: “The import of energy items having a substantial impact on the current deficit, has lately been positively affected by the recent developments in the world. There will not be any changes in the policy with respect to distribution and transmission companies, on both crude oil and electricity”.
